My name is Jeff Chasin, welcome to my personal website. If you’re reading this, you probably have some interest in the mortgage business, marketing, blogging or technology. I started this site as a resource for mortgage brokers where they can find information to help grow their businesses. My real job is working as a wholesale AE for a mortgage lender (mortgage brokers are my customers).
In my work as a commercial loan broker in my own business for almost 9 years and as an AE, I realized there are plenty of people trying to sell advice to brokers, but not a whole lot of free resources for mortgage brokers out there.
Well, the title of this site really pretty much says it. Mortgage Blogging for Mortgage Brokers - Using Technology to Build Your Business. Even though I really don’t like the word Blog, I believe that the internet is making a very dramatic impact on our business and that most mortgage brokers are not taking full advantage of using free blog software and other technology tools to market their services as much as they should.
Since I’m kinda handy with computers and good at finding relevant resources, I thought this might be helpful to some of my friends in the business and maybe a few others as well.
I’ll try to focus on simple and effective resources to improve your marketing, to increase your exposure with Realtors and customers, and to increase your overall business. I’ll highlight and review currently available technology and information that can help simplify your work.
